The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults (The HUB) mission is to provide unconditional support and programming for young people as they become productive, independent, and active members of the community. The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults was founded 20 years ago based on the needs of youth/young adults in the Lincoln community that were making the transition to adulthood with little to no concrete support system. The HUB serves unconnected young adults ages 14-24. Unconnected is defined as young adults who are living without permanent family support and have any of the following lived experience: pregnant/parenting, homeless, foster care, or juvenile justice. The HUB is filling a critical gap in services for young adults that lack family or other personal connections to provide social, emotional and financial support as they transition to adulthood.
